Ukrainian Local Section of OSA (OSA - Optical Society of America) is officially recognized organization from 2003, in accordance with the OSA bylaws.

Activity of Ukrainian Local Section of OSA is directed towards increased efficiency of the information exchange between scientists and specialists of Ukraine and world community in the field of development and application of optic, optoelectronic, electrooptic and laser techniques and technology and specialist exchange.
